A 37-year-old woman was killed as the result of an ATV rollover accident that occurred near Groak Creak over the weekend.

According to officers, the accident occurred as three people were riding on the four-seat vehicle and the driver lost control. Two females were ejected from the ATV as it flipped and rolled.

One suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital in order to be treated. The other female was pronounced dead at the scene and the male was not injured. Further details on the crash are still being investigated at this time.
