Five people were injured after a pickup truck rollover accident occurred on U.S. Highway 2.

According to the highway patrol in Minnesota, the accident occurred when a 56-year-old man lost control of his Ford Ranger pickup truck on an icy bridge and his vehicle went off of the side of the road. The truck the flipped and rolled over down the hill.

As a result, one person was ejected from the vehicle and seriously injured. One other passenger suffered critical injuries and the driver and two passengers suffered non-life threatening injuries. Two people remained in the hospital the day after the accident, but were both showing improvement.

Our thoughts are with the victims as the recover.
