A man was killed in an SUV rollover accident that occurred on the on-ramp of  Highway 101 Monday morning.

According to officials, the accident occurred  when a Chevy Trailblazer was traveling on the ramp and the car struck a curb while rounding the curve.

A 30-year-old man was killed as a result of the collision. Him and another passenger were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The other woman also suffered major injuries when she was thrown from the vehicle.

She and another passenger were taken to the hospital to be treated while another passenger was treated at the scene for injuries. The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident, but believe that alcohol or drugs were not factors.
