The other staff members — Ivy Seeds, 26, of Ingram and Justin Rumbo, 25, of Harlingen — were reportedly released from hospital on Thursday.
Star Ranch spokesman David Vinyard said the accident happened during an already difficult week for Star Ranch and those associated with it because of the death of 12-year-old resident Christening “Mikie” Garcia.Young, a teacher’s aide and house parent, and his colleagues had left the ranch to buy Ping-Pong paddles and balls to play Ping-Pong, Vinyard said. “Nobody knows what happened other that it was a one-car rollover,” Vinyard said.
