Jeep Wrangler Rollover Accident
One man was killed last night in a Jeep Wrangler rollover accident according to the Yuma Police Department. Eduardo Gomez, 18, and Deric Harhart, 18, had been traveling in the undeveloped land west of the roadway at 9:37 p.m. when the 2003 Jeep Wrangler they were in rolled over, according to YPD.
Both men were transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment, but later Harhart was pronounced dead at YRMC, according to police. Gomez survived the accident. Police spokesman Officer Clint Norred said his injuries were believed to be “serious but not life-threatening.” YRMC officials said Gomez is in fair condition. The cause of the rollover accident is still under investigation. No other information has been released at this time. June 14, 2007
