Big Rig Tanker Truck Rollover News:
A semi truck pulling a double tanker rolled Monday, March 19, 2007, spilling about 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel and sending a man to the hospital. The rollover accident happened about 11:44 a.m. at the interchange of the U.S. Highway 281 and U.S. Highway 281 bypass near the Ramkota Hotel, Capt. Dave McNeil of the Aberdeen Police Department said.

As Holscher made the turn onto the U.S. Highway 281 bypass, the semi truck and one of the tankers struck the median and rolled over. The second tanker came unhooked, slid into the ditch and tipped over as well.
The semi truck driver, Holscher was transported to Avera St. Luke’s Hospital where he was listed in fair condition Monday night. The semi truck and tankers are owned by Midwest Co-op Transport of Montevideo, Minn.
