According to California Highway Patrol, a woman was involved in an accident after losing control of her Jeep and it flipped and rolled over.

The woman lost control while driving on a curve on Felton. The accident occurred at 8:54 a.m. and the northbound lane was reopened by 9:30 a.m., but the southbound lane did not reopen for another hour.

The accident as well as the rainy conditions caused traffic to slow even further. The woman had to be extricated from the vehicle as a result of the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
