A woman from Pasco was injured as a result of an SUV rollover accident that occurred on Highway 240.

According to officials, the 19-year-old woman was driving a Chevrolet Blazer westbound on Highway 240 when the SUV drifted onto the shoulder of the roadway and the woman overcorrected to get the vehicle back on the road.

The vehicle then flipped and rolled over as a result. The woman was wearing a  seat belt at the time of the collision was transported to the local medical center in order to be treated. The woman was said to be in stable condition after the accident occurred.
