The ramp on Route 290 was closed down after a semi-truck rollover accident occurred on the roadway.

According to state police in Massachusetts, the accident occurred on the ramp to Route 495 when a semi-trailer that was carrying food lost control on a tight curve. This caused the truck to flip over on its side as a result.

The ramp was closed for over an hour as officials worked to cleanup the area and investigate the cause of the crash. The driver of the semi-truck had to be extricated from the vehicle, but the unidentified driver was not injured.
