A teenage girl was killed in a rollover accident on N. Jarvis Parkway on Thursday, September 19.

The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. Officers who responded to the scene found a 19-year old girl, who was later identified as Maggie Minter, inside a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero in the middle of 700 block of N. Jarvis Parkway. She was wearing her seat belt and pronounced dead at the scene.

Minter was heading north near the New Boston exit when her vehicle spun out of control and rolled several times before it finally came to a stop, police said. The Mitsubishi was the only vehicle involved in the wreck.

Minter’s body will be autopsied in Dallas, and the authorities are still investigating the accident.
