A Sachse High School student was critically injured after the vehicle he was riding in rolled over in West Texas, myfoxdfw.com reported on September 8.

According to reports, 15-year-old Dylan Godwin and his father Wade Godwin were riding in a vehicle on September 6 when they got in a solo-vehicle accident near Abilene. Dylan and his dad, who were not wearing seat belts, were ejected from the car Relatives of the victims stated that Dylan sustained injuries in the head and neck. Wade also required medical attention, but was later released from the hospital. Friends and relatives of Dylan in the community gathered to pray for his recovery the following day.
