A teenager was killed and two others were injured after the GMC Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) they were riding in rolled over south of Amarillo, the Amarillo Globe-News reported on July 5.

Reports said the single-vehicle rollover accident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on the night of July 4 on the 13900 block of Johns Way Boulevard. The driver of the SUV, a 17-year-old, succumbed to injuries after being pinned by the vehicle. Two other passengers in the SUV, a female and a male were taken to the hospital due to injuries they sustained from the crash. All the identities of the victims were not released, and investigators are still attempting to determine the cause of the fatal rollover. Speeding, alcohol, or drugs have not been ruled out as factors in the accident.

The lawyers at The Willis Law Firm send their deepest condolences to the family and friends who are suffering during this difficult time.
