A teenager was killed and two others were injured after the GMC Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) they were riding in rolled over south of Amarillo, the Amarillo Globe-News reported on July 5.
Reports said the single-vehicle rollover accident happened at around 11:00 p.m. on the night of July 4 on the 13900 block of Johns Way Boulevard. The driver of the SUV, a 17-year-old, succumbed to injuries after being pinned by the vehicle. Two other passengers in the SUV, a female and a male were taken to the hospital due to injuries they sustained from the crash.
