Ford Explorer Rollover in Iowa Injures Driver
Rollover leaves Iowa woman seriously injured
DOON, Iowa – A Hull, Iowa, woman was injured on Wednesday, December 1, 2006 in a one-vehicle accident east of Doon.
Lindsey Mesman, 24, was flown to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. No condition was available Thursday.
She was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer west on County Road A-52 when she hit ice and lost control at 9 a.m., four and a half miles east of Doon, according to the Iowa State Patrol in Spencer. The vehicle entered the south ditch, rolled and came to rest on the passenger side. Mesman suffered serious, multiple injuries, trooper Jeff Zylstra said. She wore a seat belt.
