Sandown officer faces aggravated DWI after wreck.
A Sandown police officer was driving drunk when his SUV rolled over in Danbury early Saturday, state police allege. Officer Paul DeCoste, 22, is charged with aggravated driving while under the influence of liquor.
The single-vehicle rollover happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Route 111A in Danville, according to police. DeCoste, who lives in Plaistow, was driving a 1996 Ford Bronco. Both DeCoste and his passenger, Janelle Bran, 21, were taken to Parkland Medical Center in Derry. DeCoste was arrested at the hospital.
An arraignment is scheduled for Feb. 19 in Plaistow District Court.
