A recent rollover crash involving a Chevrolet pickup truck in Palo Pinto County resulted in one boy’s injury, Mineral Wells Index reported on February 13.
The vehicle accident reportedly happened at around 6:30 p.m., north of U.S. Highway 281 at the vicinity of Jack County border. According to Trooper Ricky Hunter, the pickup truck operated by 32-year-old Charlotte Renee Cole had flipped several times after she lost control of the vehicle. The pickup eventually rested after hitting a fence. A boy inside the vehicle, whose age and name were not released, was taken to a nearby hospital due to injuries he sustained. Another vehicle passenger, John Cawley, did not seek medical attention. The trooper believed that the crash occurred after the driver experienced a distraction inside the vehicle.
