A young child was killed in an SUV rollover accident that occurred in Houston last month after she was ejected from the vehicle. According to reports, the victim, estimated to be approximately 4-years-old, died on the southeast side of town on loop 610 at Telephone.

According to witness statements, the vehicle the little girl was riding in, a Mitsubishi Montero SUV, swerved out of its lane, and then rolled over when the driver tried to reenter their lane on the highway. The rollover resulted in the little girl being ejected from the vehicle.

The driver was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.
