According to authorities, a family of six was hospitalized after being involved in a rollover accident in Colorado.

The accident occurred around 2 p.m. when the family was traveling in their SUV eastbound on Interstate 270 when the driver lost control of the vehicle for unknown reasons.

The vehicle rolled at least twice before stopping on its roof. Emergency crews responded to the accident to find that two of the family members had been ejected from the vehicle in the accident. No injuries were said to be life-threatening, but some were injured seriously.
