A man was killed over the weekend in an ATV accident in Leon County.

According to police reports, the 33-year-old father of three was driving with another person and hunting wild hogs on private property when he somehow lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip and roll over.

When emergency crews arrived, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his passenger was transported to St. Joseph’s hospital to be treated for injuries that are said to be non life-threatening. Final autopsy results have not been released at this time, and police continue to investigate the fatal ATV accident.
