A man from Fairbury is still recovering after a rollover car accident occurred on Sunday.

According to police, the 24-year-old man is currently in a Lincoln Hospital after being transferred there from the Jefferson Community Health Center. He suffered from life-threatening injuries in the collision.

The accident occurred just one mile south of the town Reynolds when the driver somehow lost control of the vehicle causing it to flip and roll into a nearby ditch.  There is currently no update on his condition at this time. Alcohol and drugs are not expected to be factors in the collision at this time. It is unknown if the man was wearing his seat belt, but the airbag did deploy.
