Nissan has announced that they will be offering a new system to help drivers keep their vehicle’s tires inflated. The new system will begin with the 2013 Altima and Nissan makers are hoping that it will create an even safer vehicle.
A recent study showed that underinflated tires can lead to an increased risk of accidents and while many cars will tell a driver when their tires are low, many do not know how much air to put in the tire.
Once a person puts the air hose on the tire, the lights will flash in order to let people know that air is going into tire, when there is enough air in the tire, the horn will sound. If there is too much air in the tire, the horn honks quickly and will deflate to the correct tire pressure.
