A single-vehicle rollover crash on the Florida Turnpike injured two people and caused the southbound lanes to be shut down.

The crash occurred at 5:30 p.m., but details on what caused the car to lose control are  unknown at this time.

The lanes were closed temporarily so that a helicopter could touch down on the road to airlift the two victims to the hospital. They were flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center to be treated for injuries that were considered serious.
