According to officials, an SUV rollover accident in Beaumont last week injured one person.

The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. when the driver was heading eastbound on the roadway when he lost control of the SUV for unknown reasons.

The car rolled multiple times before stopping on I-10. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, but the driver of the SUV was transported to the hospital after the accident. Police officials continue to investigate in order to determine what caused the SUV to lose control.
