At least one person was hospitalized after a man’s vehicle was involved in a rollover accident just south of Waco, Texas, News Channel 25 reported on Monday, April 27.
Information provided by police revealed that the accident happened on Interstate 35 near exit 319. The male driver whose name was withheld was heading southbound on I-35 when his vehicle allegedly “hydroplaned.” The vehicle veered away from the main road and flipped several times into the service road. Fire crews from Lorena arrived on the scene at around 4:00 a.m. and extracted the driver from the vehicle. The driver was then transported to Hillcrest Hospital due to non-life threatening injuries he sustained. Police said the driver likely survived the accident because he was wearing a seatbelt.
