On April 19 a 6-year-old boy sustained fatal injuries in a rollover accident.
Reports said Logan Simmons passed away around 4:00 a.m. on April 21. Logan was riding in a Ford Explorer on Highway 7 with four other family members when their SUV rolled over.
Initial investigations of the Texas Department of Public Safety showed that the vehicle rolled over several times after the driver over-corrected. Logan was ejected from the SUV during the course of the crash. The other four occupants of the SUV also sustained injuries from the crash.
