A teenage girl was killed in a rollover accident that occurred in south College Station along the Texas 6 road on Wednesday, July 10.

According to police, the 16-year-old girl was riding as a passenger in a sports utility vehicle that was heading south along the Texas 6 frontage road near William D. Fitch Parkway just before midnight. The SUV, which was driven by 17-year-old Blake Allen, apparently swerved towards the side of the road and rolled over a couple of times.

Allen was brought to the College Station Medical Center for treatment while the female passenger died instantly from the crash.
